Membership Options

Full Active (Competitive)

For competitive rowers of all grades and ages who train regularly and represent the club at regattas.

  • Use of boats at Torrens & West Lakes for training & racing

  • 24/7 use of the ARC gym

  • Private rack hire eligibility

  • Pairs with a competitive RowingSA registration. 

Torrens Active

For the social rowers, the fitness fanatics or those who want to skip the commute to West Lakes:

  • Training use of boats at the Torrens shed only

  • 24/7 use of the ARC gym

  • Pairs with Recreational  / Social RowingSA rego

 

Note that use of West Lakes boats is not included.

Supporter

Perfect for our alumni of retired rowers, or those who want to be involved in our Club, but without pulling the handle themselves.

  • ​Invitations to club events and social functions

  • Access to the clubhouse

  • Opportunities to coach, volunteer and stay involved 

  • No equipment usage

  • Voting rights & committee eligibility

Full Active (Non-Comp.)

We know that racing is not for everyone - there is enjoyment to be had just being out on the water!

Coxswain

For the coach's in the boat!

  • Use of boats at Torrens & West Lakes as a coxswain, for training & racing

Year 12 School Leavers

Year 12 is a big year & we know the transition from school rowing into the senior club environment can be daunting!

ARC offers a full 12 months of Full Active membership to graduating Year 12 rowers at 50% rates.

Whether you want to row socially or chase your dreams at the highest levels, there is a place for you at ARC!

Country & Interstate

For our alumni members, who live interstate or in regional SA & wish to use the Club's facilities when visiting Adelaide.

  • Full Active membership at a reduced rate

  • Subject to a fair-use policy

  • Primary residence must be >100km from Adelaide CBD

  • Requires an accompanying RowingSA registration (Social or Competitive)

I'Zingari Social

Members of the I'Zingari Foundation receive complimentary social membership of the Club. (if not already a member).

Membership Fees

for Season 2026-27

  • Our membership year runs from 1 July to 30 June.

  • Pro-rata applies to new membership applications only. Renewing or returning members not eligible.

  • All applications must be made via the online form and accompanied with full payment. Fees are non-refundable. 

  • Membership fees exclude RowingSA registration, race entry fees & private boat rack hire which are additional.

Rowing SA Registration

for Season 2026-27

All ARC rowers, coxswains, gym users, coaches and volunteers are required to be registered with RowingSA in order to be covered by Rowing Australia's national insurance programme.

 

The requirement for members to hold a current RowingSA Registration forms part of ARC's "No Pay, No Play" policy and extends to non-competitive participants (gym, coaching, volunteers etc). ​For further information, please refer to the insurance and membership pages of the RowingSA website (www.rowingsa.asn.au)​

RowingSA registration fees are non-refundable once processed in Rowing Manager. No pro-rata available.
