Our Values

Ambition

We strive for an environment where an individual’s success is limited only by their own passion, talent and determination.

We know that success does not come easy; It is always hard-fought, and requires commitment, dedication and perseverance.

We are resilient in the face of adversity, and we pull together to overcome our challenges.

While we are relentless in the pursuit of our goals, we always value the principles of fair-play, integrity, teamwork and good sportsmanship above all else.

Respect

We are committed to an inclusive, fair, supportive and safe culture.

We are considerate of others, and show care for our mates, equipment, facilities, environment, our Club and our Sport.

We embrace our differences, and recognise that diversity of body, mind, background and opinion is what will make our Club stronger.

We value and give thanks for the selflessness, initiative and dedication of our volunteers who underpin all aspects of our Club.

We honour the traditions and legacy of those Members past and present who made our Club what it is today. In turn, we seek to ensure the sustainability and longevity of our Club for the benefit of those who follow us.

Comradery

We aspire towards a fun, vibrant and inclusive social environment that nurtures life-long friendships.

We know that there is no limit to what we can achieve when we work together as a team.

We celebrate each other’s achievements, and get around each other in times of need or disappointment.

We challenge our mates to always be the best version of themselves, on and off the water.
